Harpies are among the oldest demons that have adapted to the conditions in Hell over time, evolving into larger and more powerful monsters.
The Harpy is a type of huge bird, a mythical creature that is half bird and half human related. It has long claws that tear apart enemies. Its head resembles an octopus with large eyes. Under the Harpy's arms there appear to be wings made of bone and it has human breasts on its body.

adults of this species can slay entire armies of enemies on their ownby sacrenifcng intelligence for the sake of greatness and strength, the harpies have become an extremely coveted monster that the lords of hell often used in their fight against theer enemies.
due to the scale of destruction that the adult harpy leaves behind, it remains the species that most effectively attracts hungry carcasses, that most effectively attracts hungry carcasses, flying cherubs.
it is mainly by their presence and the earthquake that you can recognize the approaching harpie.
initially, this species towered above other demons, using its wings efficently and nimbly.
evolution into a much more massive and larger form made the harpies lose the abilty to fly, becoming fearless monsters used for mass destruction.

- Harpies are Greek/Roman-mythogical half-bird/half-human creatures associated with stormy weathers. However despite the name, the Harpy in the Agony universe does not bear any resemblance to the actual said legendary creatures.
- The Harpy was originally supposed to appear in Agony (both the basic and UNRATED edition), but never made it to the final cut. This was proven in the game files, where her completely finished model is found. Observing, it appears that under the Harpy's arms are wingspans made out of bones, but these are absent in her returning appearance in SUCCUBUS.
